Making Hydrogen Work For You

How to select the proper enhancer for your vehicle.

First, you need to determine if your vehicle has Oxygen sensors or Air/Fuel Ratio sensors.  Our units work with narrow and wide band O2 sensors.  Our units do not work with AFR sensors (these are not common except in new foreign vehicles).

Most domestic vehicles (made in the USA) have narrow band O2 sensors.

Most pre-2003 foreign vehicles have narrow band O2 sensors and some newer ones do as well.

Next, you must check to see how many O2 sensors your vehicle has before the catalytic convertor.  Only the PRE-CAT sensors need to be adjusted.  The O2 sensor has 1 to 4 wires coming from a metal cylindar the size of a roll of nickels and is located on the exhaust manifold.

The MAP sensor is located on the intake manifold, just before the engine block and has 3 wires coming from its plug.  It measures approximately 2 inches by 1 inch and is almost always black.

The MAF sensor is located just after the air filter on the intake duct.  The MAF sensor may be adjusted on some vehicles.  To test if this is possible on your vehicle, please contact us.

If you are not sure about your vehicle, please search the internet for your year/make/model O2 sensors and MAP sensor before purchasing.  We do have resources to help you find the correct unit for your vehicle.  You may email us at my_energy_inc@yahoo.com, or call 860-355-0555 for assistance and we will get back to you within 48 hours.  Please be sure to include your YEAR/MAKE/MODEL and ENGINE SIZE when inquiring about O2 sensors and MAP sensors.
